Designed and handbuilt by the owner, Proper Pint Taprooms are rooted in hospitality, a love of beer and a passion for creating neighborhood gathering places. We curate an ever-changing beverage experience from independent beer, cider, wine and n/a makers and only serve proper pours — if it’s a pint, it’s a true pint — reflecting our commitment to pour what we charge for and what our community expects.

Woodstock
Our original location in SE Portland featuring 24 taps and a cozy atmosphere crafted by the owner from black walnut hardwood, leather, and Pendleton wool.
Multnomah Village
The SW Portland location features 18 taps and is aptly named Proper Pint Oakroom. Crafted from Oregon white oak, with Pendleton wool wrapping the walls, the space is anchored by a bespoke stained-glass mural created by the owner.
Slabtown
The NW Portland location features 18 taps and is crafted from mahogany and copper, wrapped in Pendleton wool, and thoughtfully pays homage to the neighborhood’s namesake, “Slabtown.”

While we don’t directly serve any food, you are welcome to bring your own picnic or you can order from nearby restaurants. We are in the heart of bustling business districts with lots of options – Check with your bartender to see if any businesses are partnered up with us to accept orders and deliver straight to you.
Yes! We allow minors on the patio until 9pm everyday.
Yes! Dogs are allowed in the taproom and on the patio as long as they are not too much of a disturbance to others around them. If your pooch gets too rowdy or becomes a problem, we reserve the right to ask you to leave. We kindly ask you to please respect these rules so that everyone can have a good time.

To ensure our taprooms are welcoming for everyone visiting, we have a very intentional and limited schedule of when televisions are on and when sports are played. We do not turn on televisions by request – we apologize for this inconvenience.
